SAFETY

If someone you love is being scammed

CLCKBL is instrumentation, not a crisis line. These are the people to call, and the steps to take, right now.

First six steps

  1. 01Preserve evidence: export chat logs, screenshot profiles, keep transaction records.
  2. 02Do not confront the scammer directly — it accelerates isolation of the target.
  3. 03Freeze money movement: contact the target's bank, card issuers, and any crypto exchange.
  4. 04Report to the platform where contact began (Tinder, WhatsApp, Instagram, etc.).
  5. 05File with the appropriate national agency above — case numbers help recovery.
  6. 06Bring a neutral third party (adult child, clinician, attorney) into the conversation.
